Comparisons to Ron Zook Fair?

"Zook went 23-14 with a 16-8 record in the SEC from 2002 to 2004. Muschamp has steered the Gators to a 22-16 record, 13-11 in the SEC over the last three seasons.

But the lows of 2013 are unlike anything Zook ever experienced: Florida's first losing season since 1979, the first loss to Vanderbilt since 1988 (first at home since 1945), the program's first loss to an FCS team, and the end of a 22-year bowl streak that dated back to 1991 when Steve Spurrier led the program out of the darkness of probation into an era of unprecedented heights."

C'Mon Man: Gators laughing at own idiocy.

"Before video of the play made the rounds in social media, Florida players and coaches had a good laugh over Saturday's now-infamous Gator-on-Gator block.

In the wake of Florida's devastating loss to FCS member Georgia Southern, the block offered some much-needed comic relief."
I hope these young men enjoyed making it onto Monday Night Football as fools because it will most likely be their only highlight on an NFL show.
Does anyone think Saban or Meyer would be laughing if it was their team would just suffered its worst loss ever, and missed blocking assignments by blocking their own teammates?

Adding to the humiliation of loosing to Georgia Southern last Saturday, the Florida Gators were highlighted on ESPN's Monday Night Football segment of C'mon Man for the "creative blocking" of the offense against its own own players.

Signature losses against Louisville, Miami, Georgia (2011-2013), Vanderbilt, and Georiga Southern on national television, and now this? C'mon Man!

What recruit wants to play for Muschamp after loosing 4 coordinators in 3 years?

From ESPN:

"Skinny: The undefeated Seminoles are two victories away from trying to play for a chance to win their first national championship since 1999. After playing the Gators, FSU will meet the ACC's Coastal Division winner in next week's ACC championship game. The reeling Gators have lost six games in a row, including an inexplicable 26-20 home defeat against FCS foe Georgia Southern on Saturday. Florida will finish with its first losing season since going winless in 1979 and its 22-year streak of playing in a bowl game, the longest among FBS teams, will come to an end. Can we just send Florida A&M to Gainesville?

Prediction: FSU 51, Florida 13"

From ESPN's College Gameday: "We saw an overtime win by Mississippi State over Arkansas on Saturday, a last-minute win by Vanderbilt over Tennessee and a shocking win by FCS team Georgia Southern over traditional power Florida. In short, it was just another wacky Saturday in the SEC. "

Proving Florida is news-worthy for all the wrong reasons.

Georgia QB Aaron Murray to have surgery for torn ACL

"Murray ends his career as the Southeastern Conference's all-time leading passer with 13,166 yards and 121 touchdowns. He started 52 consecutive games for Georgia and nearly led the Bulldogs to the SEC title and a shot at the national title in 2012, falling just 5 yards short against Alabama."
